Neo Cosmo Glamour Gray Review - Candylens.com

These circle lenses were my 2nd time ordering from Candylens.com .

These lenses were as a surprise for my sister, because I know she always wanted lighter eyes.

She wanted me to order some lenses because she trusted me and wanted to try circle lenses too.

I wanted her first experience with circle lenses to be good. So I ordered from candylens.com 

As I said I wanted a color change, not an enlarging/dolly effect. So I chose the Neo Cosmo Glamour in gray. These are made by Neo Vision which is more known for comfort.

At the moment they have a Christmas/New Year Sale. 

Fast e-mail response, information about lenses on the website.
Also every lens has some nice pictures of it and people wearing them, so you can see how it might look on your eyes. The lens bottles are still packed in tiny gift boxes, which make it special. Also the choice of your free animal lens case is really great!
Great service and nice people.

Shipping : 9/10

The shipping was still faster than stated on the site. It took 6-7 days. Instead of the 8 days on the site. They came right on time. Fast as promised. Your order gets confirmed first, after that you will get another e-mail when your order is shipped.

You can chose between regular shipping which is $5.00.
The express shipping is pricier $24.59, (but that is if you really really can't 1 week.)

Comfort : 10/10

My sister wears contacts because she dislikes wearing glasses, she got them in prescription -2.50, for the same price as plano(-+0.00) lenses. She wears them all day long, 4 to 5 days a week. They are just as comfortable as regular lenses. Although you might consider not wearing them too long, because of the lower oxygen on colored contacts.

Enlargement : 6/10

These lenses are not made for enlargement! They might look slightly bigger. Even though they are 14.2mm and the color change is really great though, natural and shiny. You still look a bit dolly with these lenses. But not extremely dolly like the other lenses do.

Design : 10/10

The design is really nice with small details. Probably one of the most natural looking circle lenses on the market. The color fades out more naturally then other circle lenses.
The color of the lens is light gray and the outside are small stripes of dark gray. The color is very vibrant on dark brown eyes and you can't see your natural eye color anymore. Very nice if you are looking for a good color change and natural looking lenses!

Overall experience : 10/10

I will be ordering only from Candylens.com from now on.

My sister is really pleased with the Neo Circle Lenses and shows them off to family and friends all the time.

How Honeycolor.com stole christmas. - Honeycolor.com

So this review is based on my one time experience.
I placed my order on the 13th of December, so I would have it at home in time for Christmas.
The order I placed was :
- 2 lenses for me (1 was meant as a small gift for Christmas).
- 2 lenses for someone else.

As you can see from the title, something went wrong.
But first I will show you the advertisement of Honeycolor.com

I never ordered from Honeycolor.com but the previous times I ordered from different shops all went well.
My order was over $90, and it stated a FREE EXPRESS SHIPMENT and I wanted my present pretty quick. If it wasn't for the fast shipping I wouldn't have ordered here.

But now to the downside of the story :
- My package did not ship in 48 hours like stated on the site. It took 24- 48 hours longer, causing me to get it the next week instead of the same week. (Sundays = no delivery).
- I did not get a message when the package was shipped, so I contacted the costumer service, and they told me that my package was on it's way...

So it already took longer, so the "fast express shipping" was just as fast as the regular shipping from any other site.

I got my package Monday 20th of December and I was pretty dissapointed!
The only lenses that mattered (the ones meant as a gift) we're in the wrong prescription. (instead of -2.50 they gave me -5.50).
Also the lensecases were pink/white ones which I didn't really like, but that is personal.

I directly contacted the costumer service, but it took them over 2 days to actually write me something back.
They gave me a very small statement, but they refunded the wrong lenses.


Service : 6/10

I believe they offer a lot of great service. But I think the mailing should be faster. I mean more then two days to write something back. I think its because they were very busy with all the Christmas orders.

Shipping : 5/10

Shipping was not extremely fast, it actually was slower then expected. I had to ask for my tracking numer. But tracking itself was nice.

Overall experience : 5.5/10
The only reason I ordered from Honeycolor.com is because I thought it would be great to have a last-minute Christmas gift. It turned out wrong.

I think they are very busy with all their orders around this time of the year.

It was nice that they refunded for the wrong lenses instead of letting me mail it back.

They have lots of lenses to chose from (but that is almost every site).

Points that they should change :

- Faster e-mail response.

- Better e-mails, their tone-of-voice ín mails don't really sound right to me.

- Nicer looking contact case (animals or something else), but this is personal.

- Don't make promises that you can't achieve.

With all the events going on on the site, they made my expectations very high compared to other shops. This caused me to have a somewhat bitter experience with them. I will think twice before ordering again, but I guess it was all a misunderstanding.

Geo Angel Brown Review - Candylens.com

This was the second time I've ordered circle lenses.
I was not satisfied about the effect of the other pair, so I did my research and found some other lenses and a new site.
On youtube I found a girl (I believe her name is Nicky) talking really positive about Candylens.com.
I searched the site and I found out that they have many lenses, good rules and structure.
I wanted a lens that was not too much, but with a little effect, which were the Geo Angel in brown.

Whenever I have questions I mail them and they respond in 8-12 hours. The packaging of this site is very different from other sites. And I mean that in a possitive way. Because they make it look like a giftbox which looks very nice, it makes you feel special and it adds something extra. It also is a very nice packaging if you want to actually give it as a present to friends or family.

You get to chose your own animal case! Which is a big plus for me! I also got a handwritten thank you card!

Shipping : 9/10
It took only 4 days for me to get my order. Which is extremely fast!
I ordered on Monday and had the package on Friday.

They got my order and directly went to the post office, because I've got a tracking number for the package.
It's not a total tracking, but it lets you know when your package is going to ship from malaysia to your country.

You will get an e-mail once they have shipped your order.
(You can chose express shipping too, but that is more pricey).

Comfort : 8/10

The Geo Angel browns aren't that thick. But you can notice them in your eyes if you are wearing them longer than 6-7 hours.

If you take good care of them and clean them well, you probably won't notice any problems. But I know it is recommended switch days wearing them and not wearing them.

Enlargement : 7.5/10
These lenses make a good enlargement for a 14.0mm lens. Because of the black ring around it and the light brown color thats in the middle. If you want a subtle enlargement, these are the lenses for you!

Design : 9/10

The design is really nice. It is one of the most popular ones out there, so don't expect to be the most original person. But these lenses make your eyes pop on pictures and in real life. The design isn't too big, so it does not block you vision.

Overall experience : 10/10
Candylens.com , will be the place where I will keep ordering.
The people really think about the costumer. (packaging, many lenses, shipping, handwritten card!).

You get an animal case, and actually get  to choose which one you want. (I picked Yellow Fishes).
I will tell you, you will not be dissapointed! I'm very happy with my order!

Geo ck-108 (Geo Black Magic Circle) review - PinkyParadise.com

This was the first time I've ordered circle lenses.
I've seen a lot of reviews on the internet and people kept referring to Pinky Paradise.
I gave it a try and ordered from them.
I chose a more natural type of lens, which were the Geo CK-108 in black. (also known as Geo Magic Black)

Base Curve: 8.6mm

Replacement Period: 12 months

Service : 6/10They e-mail you when you paid. And update information if they get more. I did not get a tracking number. So you will have to wait patiently.

Shipping : 7/10
It took 8 days for me to get my order. Which is just as fast as the site states.

Comfort : 7/10 I don't know if I was wearing them wrong, but the first time they felt a bit strange.
I could clearly feel them, so I put them out.
But the next time I tried it was fine.

Enlargement : 6/10
These lenses don't really enlarge extremely, but they make your eyes more piercing.
The extreme dark edges make your eyes one solid color.

Design : 8/10This is personal, but I really like extreme black eyes. The design is a bit like a swirl/warp effect.
They look natural on me. Don't go for these lenses if you want people to notice.

Overall experience : 7/10
I like Pinkyparadise, but I believe there are better shops or shops that offer something extra.
Pinkypardise gives a free gift which are aimed at girls, so I gave it to my sister.

They gave me a animal case, but I could not chose which one I wanted.
Pinkyparadise is a shop that sticks to their statements, they deliver in time, offer many lenses and give you a cheap gift. The delivery isn't the fastest but not slow.
